God's Power is Made Perfect in our Weakness.
Let us ask you a question... Have you ever felt God's power taking control over your weaknesses? In life, there are times where challenges arise, the struggles begin to feel overbearing, everything around you seems to swarm in and you start to feel hopeless. You feel as if you have lost control, and you just don't know how much longer you can go on feeling like this. You aren't sure if you should give up, or keep pushing forward with every bone in your body. Sometimes you find yourself doubting and questioning if God really is making a way in your life.
Have you ever found yourself here?
The truth is, we have all at one point or another been there. We tend to work on our own strengths and sufficiency because we deem it to be "enough". However, at one point or another, the strength and sufficiency you once leaned on quickly falls apart, and you are only left with God's shoulder to lean on. If you have reached this point in your life, we want to encourage you with what the Lord says to Paul the Apostle about it in the new testament. ”My Grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly in my weakness , so that the power of Christ may rest in me." 2 Corinthians 12:9.
Let's look into the context of this verse. Paul the Apostle is begging the Lord to take away what we know as a "thorn in the flesh". In fact, he pleads to the Lord 3 times about it. However, God did not remove it. Instead, He simply spoke into his weakness. Sometimes, God will use our very own weaknesses to blossom something beautiful. Our struggles also allow us to fully surrender to God. Too often, so many of us become complacent in our own lives. But we ask you this... What good is it to live a comfortable, complacent life if Jesus is not in the center of it? Sometimes we may not understand our storms, but God truly transforms all things for good.
If you are in a storm or battling anything right now, We want to remind you who your redeemer is. If you are battling with anything that may be pulling you away from God, we invite you to fully surrender your burdens for God so that He may manifest himself in all areas of your life. This battle was never yours to fight alone. You have a God who fights battles on your behalf and loves you unconditionally. Allow God's power to manifest in your life. Let him fill you with His love, mercy. and Grace.
2 Corinthians 12:9 But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest on me.
