We live in a culture that thrives on going viral. Trends change by the hour. One day it’s popular
to be bold about your faith. The next, you’re criticized for standing by Scripture.
But Jesus didn’t come to be trendy. He came to be truth.
"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first." (John 15:18)
Following Jesus has never been about fitting in. It’s about being set apart. That’s not always
easy. In fact, it’s often costly.
It might cost you relationships. Opportunities. Approval. But what you gain in return is greater:
peace that doesn’t depend on popularity, identity that isn’t shaped by culture, and truth that
stands firm no matter what the world calls it.
Jesus didn’t chase influence. He made disciples. He didn’t try to fit in with the crowd. He called
people out of it.
So if you feel out of place in today’s world, maybe that’s because you were never meant to
blend in. You were meant to shine.
This world needs believers who live with conviction, not convenience. People who love boldly,
speak truth graciously, and follow Jesus whether it’s cool or not.
Don’t follow a trend. Follow the One who never changes.
Your faith was never meant to go viral. It was meant to be real.
Being set apart isn’t about being judgmental or distant. It’s about being deeply rooted in
something the world can’t offer—real hope, unshakable love, and eternal truth. When we stand
firm in Christ, we become a beacon for others looking for something real in a culture full of
filters.
You may feel pressure to water down your beliefs to be more accepted. But remember, the
power of the Gospel is in its purity. When you stand for truth, God stands with you. And that’s
worth more than any applause from the crowd.
So take courage. Be bold. And know this: authenticity in Christ will outlast every trend this world
throws at you.
Following Jesus might not always be cool, but it will always be right. Let your life speak louder
than the latest headline. Be different. Be faithful. Be rooted in Him.
And when you feel alone in your conviction, remember that you’re not. There is a remnant
rising. And God is moving through those who refuse to compromise.
